Neil Ward

(Managing Partner / Co-founder)

Neil Ward has more than 20 years of diverse technical, project management, and outreach experience in natural resource programs.

Neil has worked extensively with Native American tribes, federal agencies, state fish and wildlife departments, and power industry representatives on natural resource status and trend monitoring and reporting projects. He specializes in synthesizing and translating complex scientific data for non-technical audiences. His background in fisheries sciences and management, coupled with his experience working with policy makers and the public, makes Neil adept at successfully translating complex data into formats that are useful to decision makers and the public.

Neil has extensive experience coordinating and facilitating meetings, workshops, and conferences on key natural resource issues in the Columbia River Basin. He specializes in achieving collaboration among diverse stakeholders for the purpose of achieving consensus toward natural resource management and restoration efforts.

Neil graduated from South Dakota State University with an M.S. in Fisheries Sciences and from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences.

Binh Quan

(Managing Partner / Co-founder)

Binh has over 15 years of experience developing and delivering solutions in the healthcare, petroleum, maintenance, transportation and natural resource industries. Binh's experiences include developing complex computer and network solution's, IT system development, and support.

Before co-founding QW Consulting, Binh was a System and Data Manager at Columbia Basin Fish and Wildlife Foundation, where he managed and delivered several data-driven websites and products. Prior to joining CBFWF, he worked as an Engineering Director at eNucleus/TAK Industrial where he led several successful multi-million dollar projects for Fortune 500 companies. He has also worked as a software developer for several software companies in the greater Portland, Oregon, area.

Binh graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Computer Science.

Heather Stanley

(Staff - Copy Editor)

Heather Stanley has more than 15 years of professional writing, copyediting, and layout experience.

Heather has worked with a broad range of environmentally and socially conscientious clients, including natural resource agencies, trade organizations, and nonprofit entities, to create a variety of printed and digital content. She is skilled in translating complex ideas and documents into concise, user-friendly outreach resources such as reports, newsletters, website content, and marketing collateral. With her clear, concise writing style and expert use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation, coupled with her eye for clean design, Heather is proficient at creating approachable content for the non-technical audience.

Heather graduated from Oregon State University with a B.A. in English.
